About this RV

1998 Winnebago Chalet M24VR in GREAT condition!! 112,266 miles Clean title Chevy Chasis 5.7, V-8 engine Excellent vehicle for Burning Man, or otherwise! Sleeps up to 5 or 6 between the back bed, loft bed, and dinette bed. Lots of cupboard space overhead, a tall hanging closet with full mirror, as well as under dinette seats. These really hold their value since they're a manageable size to drive and park. Engine is in excellent condition, starts right up and purrs, low miles and has barely been driven in the past 2 years. Plumbing works great, no leaks. Has a trailer hitch as well, for towing a car, and a hookup for an outdoor shower. Seats in cab are in EXCELLENT, clean condition! No cracks in dash area, has working, old-school radio and cassette player. Interior of trailer is worn; carpet was mostly torn out, and linoleum is definitely lived-in, but clean; current owner put down his own throw carpet. One chair was pulled out (just to the R of the door, towards the cab) so it leaves room for extra gear, storage, or whatever you'd like. Everything was scoured, including vents, filters, floors, walls, etc. Just had a full inspection by an RV repair specialist, see below for all features. RECENTLY REPLACED/REPAIRED: · Re-charged the AC in the cab · Re-sealed the roof · Replaced 2-3 Interior lights · Replaced right rear side blinker · Replaced 2 front tires with high quality, commercial-grade - New battery w/2 year warranty EXTRAS: - Cummins Oman microlite 4000 generator, built in, runs off gas (from the tank) Goes for $4K+ new: https://www.absolutegenerators.com/cummins-onan-qg-4000i-df-dual-fuel-rv-generator-4hglda-8313-4-kw-120-volt-efi - Solar panel on roof connected to battery to assist with trickle charge All the important things work well: - Fridge, freezer (new 2 years ago) - Oven, stove - Microwave - Shower - Water pump (replaced 2 years ago) - Heater/AC Other things to note: - Has mostly been stored for the past 2 years - Could add an exterior awning or 2 if desired - I would recommend replacing the toilet, as it’s old and looks crusty inside (despite being clean), but it works fine with no leaks - Mattresses not included; can add a second one above the cab if desired, and dinette becomes bed, so can potentially sleep 5-6. FULL DISCLOSURE REGARDING REGISTRATION: We're helping a sick, elderly neighbor sell this, so, unfortunately, his insurance and registration lapsed last year. We were unable to do this through the DMV in a timely manner so new owner will have to handle this when registering the vehicle through DMV. Registration due now is $356 paid to be current (see photo) through November. Will also need a current smog check this year. *However, as a Bonus, the gas tank (about 50 gallons) is 3/4 full, so that's about "50-worth in Cali prices!
